Our literacy adventure camps create new ways to experience the joys of reading and writing. At BookTrails, our students are able to experience and feel as though they are the main character in their favorite story—whether it be building a survival shelter, running through a stream bed, or sketching in a meadow. By using reading and writing as a tool to teach environmental principles, our students are given a unique perspective to view both literature and the natural world. Steamboat Springs is home to a 5 day performance running camp where we challenge ourselves, stretch our limits, and make memories and friendships to last a lifetime. Elevate Mountain Running Camp focuses on the heart and soul of an athlete. During our time together, we will explore the mountains in a way that stretches our limits and translates running into our life endeavors. Day camp and overnight options available. Totally Kids Summer Camp offers a safe, stimulating environment that encourages a positive self-image. The summer day camp is open to children in grades Kindergarten through 7th grade. We are open weekdays during the summer from 7:00 am to 5:45 pm.

Kingdom Quest: An EPIC Journey to Discover God’s Kingdom Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! At Kingdom Quest, kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade (including incoming 6th graders) will set out on an epic journey to discover who God is and what His Kingdom is all about. Each day will be filled with high-energy games, engaging lessons, fun activities, and a delicious dinner. This is the perfect place for kids to make friends, grow in their faith, and have a blast in a safe and exciting environment. You won’t want to miss it!

Our summer camps are held primarily outside. Each morning we meet in the studio for a warm-up, then walk outside to one of our nearby parks to work on our projects in an outdoor studio setting. This summer our camps will be held in the Art Room at Soda Creek Elementary, and we will walk to Stehley Park and Howelsen Hill as our primary outdoor studio locations. Camps will culminate at the end of the week on Friday with a gallery show at Make Studio on Lincoln Ave. We provide all materials and tools for FUN mixed media projects ranging from painting and drawing, printmaking, sculpture, wood, clay, photography, land art, and more! Our camps are designed for ages 6-10. Students will be divided in small groups for age-appropriate activities, and together for collaborative projects, snacks, lunch, and 'Art Lab'. The age range makes for a fun group dynamic with different ages working together to inspire, lead/follow, and nurture one another. Space is limited!

Mountain Sports Kayak offers a fun and safe environment where children can learn kayaking skills, make new friends and enjoy the great outdoors while on the Yampa River! We will spend most of our time on the Upper Yampa in the more mellow sections learning basic river safety, paddling skills, and ecology of the river in kayaks and on paddleboards. With more experienced kids, we will venture further downstream in smaller groups to encourage and have fun practicing their newly learned skills. Join our camp to meet new friends and experience the fun that can be had on the water.

Mountain Valley Horse Rescue staff is excited to offer multiple equestrian camps for Eagle and Routt County! Please check the website for more dates and details. Prices range from $60 - $90/day. Horse Glamour Day Camp We do a special groom on the horses until they sparkle & shine (there might be some glitter and ribbons involved!) Get to know the horses through service & grooming. Lots of hands on time with the horses. We finish with a parade & a fun glamour horse craft. H.O.P.E. Day Camp Advance your horse skills and learn groundwork & liberty with horses. Campers develop communication and leadership skills as they work with the horses, reading body language of the horses as well as their own. Campers learn how to communicate effectively first by watching and listening to the quiet communication of the horses. We learn about groundwork and get introduced to liberty work with the horse. Equine Explorers Camp - Multi Day Camp Equine Explorer Camp is an educational multi day camp offering even more hands-on horse time. Campers will learn about safety and confidence around the horses through learning groundwork, leading, grooming. We cover horse body language, anatomy, nutrition, basic horse terminology and tools.

Join NRCCS Early Childhood Program for a summer extension of our school year programming. We are is a licensed childcare center that offers a separate summer program. This programming emphasizes outdoor experiences and exploring the resources near or school in Clark, while also providing structure and routines for children.

We are excited to offer Summer Camp at Old Town Hot Springs again this year! Our popular camp is for kids ages 5 – 10 and is full of fun activities at the facility, including climbing, kids yoga, rotating fitness activities, hiking, daily swim lessons, and free swim. Our camp is offered Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM – 1 PM throughout the summer.

The cost is $275 for members and $300 for guests. The age range is 5-9 years old.

Passport to World Music Summer Camp is an immersive half-day camp designed to expand your child’s world through music, culture, and creativity. Each day, campers “travel” to a different country where we explore traditional music, instruments, landmarks, celebrations, and cultural customs. Students experience rhythm and movement through hands-on participation and create their own take-home instruments inspired by each destination. Camp time will be a thoughtful mix of indoor and outdoor activities, allowing students to move, create, and explore in a dynamic and engaging environment. No prior musical experience is necessary. Campers build confidence, creativity, coordination, and cultural awareness in a small-group setting. All materials are included.

This isn’t just a day camp—it’s a front-row seat to the magic of the arts! Our students dive headfirst into everything Perry-Mansfield has to offer. Throughout the week, campers will:

• Explore the Stage: Discover the fundamentals of both Dance and Theater, finding new ways to move and tell stories.

• Unique Campus Experiences: Engage in unmounted equestrian activities and get a “feet-on-the-ground” introduction to the gravity-defying world of Circus Arts.

Rocky Mountain Adventure Hockey Camp (RMAHC)

High-altitude Adventure Hockey Camp in the world-class ski resort of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
The Rocky Mountain Adventure Hockey Camp (RMAHC) will include the standard features of all RMHS Summer Skill Development Camps and incorporate the outdoor expertise of some of the world's most accomplished mountaineering athletes. These professionally trained mountaineering experts will work with your child and train them in the standard techniques and principles utilized by Mountain Rescue Teams across the country. RMAHC will offer players this exceptional outdoor adventure camp while continuing to provide the world-class on-ice instruction RMHS is renowned for. Ice time will not be forfeited, and instructor quality will not be compromised. This camp will provide our customers with the best of both worlds: world-class hockey instruction with world-class Outdoor Education and activities.

Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Colorado, Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory is an intimate summer music program for string players including violin, viola, cello and piano featuring musical excellence, physical conditioning, leadership training and a balanced approach to living. We do all this through the passionate, persistent pursuit of perfection, which reveals the extraordinary within us.

Our teachers are dedicated to sharing the music we love through chamber music performance and coaching. Our students have come from all over the United States and from China, Japan, Germany, Israel and Mexico. They make friends to last a lifetime and their summer experience will remain with them long after the notes of our last concerts have melted away. The Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) provides an incredible opportunity for youth ages 14-18 to make a meaningful impact while gaining hands-on experience. Each year, more than 200 participants join forces to complete transformative conservation projects across 10 counties in Northwest Colorado.
Through the YCC, participants engage in projects that range from trail building and environmental restoration to managing invasive species and improving wildlife habitats. These efforts leave a lasting legacy, enhancing both the natural environment and local communities. Being part of an RMYC crew means working with a dedicated team of 8-10 peers and two experienced crew leaders over two weeks or four weeks. Designed for participants with disabilities, Outdoor Explorers offers activities focusing on skill development. Each session is themed around outdoor recreation, and campers will engage in developing outdoor skills commonly used in Northwest Colorado, including hiking, outdoor education/safety, and more! Camps run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
We do partner with local organizations to enable participants to join for a half day,in the afternoon, if needed. For ages 13 - 17.

Designed for 18+ years of age, Trailblazers offers participants the opportunity to be outside, recreate, socialize with friends and enjoy our vast backyard. Activities include kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, swimming and disc golf. Camp runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Designed for participants with disabilities, aged 5-12, Youth Adventure offers activities focusing on socialization and skill development. Each session is themed around outdoor recreation, and campers will engage in developing outdoor skills commonly used in Northwest Colorado, including hiking, biking, paddling, and more!

This camp only runs on Mondays - 8:30 - 12:00pm and Friday - 1:00 - 4:00pm.

At our Dance & Create camps, our excellent dance instructors will expose your student to Ballet, Modern and Jazz dance styles. Each week has its own theme incorporated into choreography and costume. Camp activities include dance class, dance games, stretching, arts and crafts, outdoor play, face painting and more! Parents will enjoy a dance recital on the final day.

At Rock U., your student will be coached by our expert instructors to play various genres of Rock music on an instrument they already know how to play, but now they can play it in an ensemble! They will learn how to operate a sound system and will prepare a concert for parents on the final day. For ages 10-17.

This is a great chance for you to put your instrument skills to the test by playing in a band with others. Rock U creates a supportive environment where campers can learn new skills, jam with others, and even perform on stage at the end of the week! This is the perfect place to rock out and create lasting memories while sharing the passion of music.

Steamboat Climbing Collective offers Steamboat's only Kids' Indoor Climbing Summer Camp. We had so much FUN last summer and can’t wait until Summer 2026. A combination of new and old games, with the addition of blacklight climbing this summer, will be one to remember.

SCC’s summer camp is for all levels of climbers; grouped by age, climbers explore all areas of the gym, including roped climbing, bouldering, and, of course, our fun upstairs area.  Kids play climbing games, learn climbing techniques, and, most of all, have fun.

Steamboat's Summer Soccer Program for kids ages 3-5! Sign up for one day a week for 4 weeks! There are two 4 week options to choose from! Session are 45 minutes long, and offered in the morning and in the evenings. $100 for 4 weeks ($25/session).

The Steamboat Skating Club is the skater's entry into the world of US Figure Skating testing, competing and performing, fun and friendships.

Steamboat Skating Club is honored to announce our 2026 Summer Camp — lead by renowned ISU Coach Developer, and technical education expert, Patrick O'Neil.

Skaters must have completed Basic 1, 2, and 3 in the City of Steamboat Springs Learn to Skate Program to be eligible to participate in the Steamboat Skating Summer Camp.

The Steamboat Soccer Junior Academy designed for the 5-8 year-old athlete with the same passion, fun, and development of our Youth and High School camps, is a program tailored specifically for the rising stars. This environment is perfect for the junior soccer player to learn from high-level coaches also trained to work with the specific development demands of these age groups. By learning through fun technical activities, small-sided games, and competitions our age-appropriate schedule will allow optimal on-field exposure and adequate break times for participants and their families to explore all that Steamboat has to offer in the Summertime.

The ZPro Futbol Goalkeeper Academy Soccer Camp provides dedicated goalkeeper coaching staff and provides the opportunity for Goalkeepers to use their training in games daily throughout the camp of their choice. ZPro Futbol and the Steamboat Soccer Academy are teaming up to provide goalkeepers at SSA with PROVEN training techniques with international coaching experience. ZPro's coaches train international goalkeepers around the world as well as college and youth goalkeepers around the United States. The ZPro Goalkeeper Academy at SSA is an integrated part of our SSA Premier Academy and Performance Academy.

Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club (SSWSC) programs are designed to make the most of summer in Steamboat, with biking, skateboarding, water ramp/trampoline, and strength/physical literacy programs in three, three-week sessions, as well as dryland training and camps in all of our sports that prepare athletes to excel and develop skills in their winter sports. The three-week session format for youth programs provides the flexibility and opportunity for kids to sample different sports during the summer, develop a broad base of skills, and find the sports they have a passion for. This gives kids the opportunity to participate in multiple sports each summer, taking advantage of everything the SSWSC and other sport programs in our community have to offer.

Summer SSWSC Programs include Cycling, Skateboarding, Strength & Conditioning, Trampoline, Water Ramps, and summer training programs for Alpine, Cross Country, Moguls, Freeskiing and Snowboarding. Scholarships and financial aid are available for up to 50% of the summer program fee for all of our summer programs. This camp will introduce kids to Track and Field events. Kids can run, jump, & throw....while having an action packed week of pure fun and expert coaching. We will work on team relays, starting blocks (even for the littles), high jump, hurdles, long jump, and a modified throws event. Our amazing SSHS Track and Field/Cross Country athletes and coaches will help to coach and mentor the young athletes at camp. The camp will consist of two groups. K-5th grade will be broken into appropriate age based groups, to maximize their fun and learning. The middle school group will be incoming 6-9th graders. This group will work on specific techniques for events, but in a fun environment. Each day the athletes will get to watch the high school athletes (and some of our returning college athletes) provide demonstrations of their own events, such as Pole Vault, High Jump, Shot Put, Hurdles and more.

SSO Summer Immersion offers focused, inspiring camps for young string players and developing woodwind and brass musicians. Students build strong technique, play in ensembles, work with experienced teaching artists, and grow in confidence, all in a fun, supportive, community-centered environment. Whether your child is just beginning their musical journey or continuing to advance, Summer Immersion provides meaningful instruction, collaboration, and connection through music.

Young Strings Summer Camp
Designed especially for our youngest string players, this camp builds strong foundational technique through small ensembles, musical storytelling, composer adventures, and interactive music games that bring learning to life. Students develop confidence, creativity, and connection while having fun in a nurturing setting.

Evening Masterclasses for Intermediate & Advanced String Players
In addition to the morning camps, intermediate and advanced string students may register for optional evening masterclasses. These sessions provide deeper musical exploration, individualized instruction, and focused artistic growth in an intimate setting.

Woodwind & Brass Summer Camp
A dynamic and inspiring week for developing wind players. Students work closely with instrument specialists, perform in ensembles, explore improvisation, receive focused individual instruction, and strengthen musicianship in a collaborative setting. This camp is designed to elevate skills while fostering friendship and teamwork.

Who Can Join?
• Brass and woodwind students with at least one year of experience
• Students through grade 12

TENNIS, PICKLEBALL AND SO MUCH MORE! Every week for ages 6-13. Each camp day includes on-court time for tennis and/or pickleball plus off-court time for varying fun activities such as badminton, ping pong, field games, arts & crafts, water balloons, awards, and more. Can combine with the Summer Rec Tennis and Competitive Edge Camp for afternoon camp. Ages 6 - 18.

Each week includes tennis and pickleball court time, field games, and arts and crafts. Kids will learn basic hand eye coordination with fun games on and off the court. Each game played helps with the fundamentals of racquet and paddle sports. For ages 3-5. It's never too early to introduce kids to the joys of court sports!

Continue your tennis journey this summer. Sessions are for all levels. We will separate kids into groups by age/skill when they arrive. We will work on strokes and technique as we play fun games! Can combine with the Summer Court Sports Fun Camp for morning camp. Ages 6 - 18. 

Get ready for three evening full of faith, fun, and friendship! Summer Spirit Camp is our version of Vacation Bible School—packed with music, crafts, games, storytelling, and creative activities that help kids explore God’s love in exciting and meaningful ways. Open to children ages 3yrs (potty trained) thru rising 6th graders. Dinner will be served. This is a joyful, welcoming space for all to grow in faith and community. Camp runs in the evenings from 5pm - 7:30pm on July 21, 22, 23, 2026.

We empower young women through mountain biking to create brighter futures and build stronger communities. We remove barriers to the sport, serving primarily Latina and BIPOC participants while supporting their social-emotional well-being. But it's not about the bike—it's about the transformational powers of belonging and self-fulfillment that riding provides. That's why we call it The Cycle Effect. Centered on equity, compassion, belonging, courage, and fun, we create opportunities for female-identifying and non-binary youth to thrive.

Our week long mountain bike camps are designed specifically for young riders who identify as female including trans and cis, as well as non-binary kids. Our inclusive, safe and fun learning space welcomes all skill levels. Young riders will have ample opportunities to practice basic biking handling skills in order to build more comfort and confidence on and off the bike while exploring the trails on Emerald. In addition to learning bike skills, this camp includes mindset tools integrated into our daily bike sessions and community building to foster camaraderie during camp.

Please join us for a magical summer under the trees and by the creek on this heart-centered land. We'll be spending our mornings exploring our sun-filled forest together and our afternoons relaxing in the shade and taking adventure walks. All class focuses are seamlessly woven into our summer nature immersion program.

All weeks of camp include a fun and balanced approach to the day; blending activities with free play, collaborative group play, music and storytelling. And of course, we enjoy eating together--all campers please bring a hearty snack and water bottle, full day campers also bring a packed lunch.

This camp is for ages 2.5 - 6 years old.

Friends of the Yampa and Colorado Mountain College Steamboat offer exciting youth river camps based on age and experience level. Younger campers get to explore the Yampa River in Steamboat Springs, Hayden, and Craig. Older campers have the opportunity to explore the Green River through the Gates of Lodore in Dinosaur National Monument.

Each group will have a weekly theme to guide their exploration and get to experience a field trip each day to locations all around Steamboat and the Yampa Valley. Campers get to go on hikes, play fun games, conduct experiments, create art projects, and so much more! Each child who visits Yampatika gets to go on a field trip each day they come to camp. We go all over from places like local parks and trails, museums, ranches, gardens, and State Parks. We also partner with lots of awesome organizations to help expand the experiences we are able to offer. We always have so much to explore!

Join Yampatika for an exciting week of Wilderness Adventure! Each Wilderness Rangers group will consist of 2 days of day camp from 9-4 and then a 3 day and 2-night backpacking adventure. To help focus on Positive Youth Development, we will focus on building five core competencies with each group of Wilderness Rangers: Savvy, Environmental Connection, Emotional Intelligence, Peer Learning, and Confidence. Our goal is to help give kids a memorable experience outdoors that will better connect them to both their peers and the environment we all depend on! Yampatika will have plenty of gear available for loan to participants.
